Our client Steph contacted us after suffering a nasty injury in the course of her employment as a disability worker at a school for specific purposes (SSP).

Steph was wheeling a student a gurney who had recently undergone spinal surgery, when one of the wheels fell off, causing the gurney to tip over. Our client reacted quickly to catch the bed to protect the child from further injury. She was successful in her goal but unfortunately suffered a nasty injury to her shoulder.

Even though Steph returned to work after the accident, we were able to get her the compensation she deserved for her pain and suffering, and impact on her quality of life.
