The Story about this TAC Claim

Jacqueline came to us on the word of a trusted family member. She had been injured years before when she fell on a tram that took off suddenly while she was trying to touch on her Myki. We investigated her claim and medical history and advised her that we thought she had a strong claim for compensation.

My husband and I met with Michael Constable of Henry Carus + Associates in their offices in August 2017, having been recommended to me by cousin, whose opinion I value.

I told him my history as follows:

I fell on my back on a tram in Melbourne in 2015, and it took 2 weeks for doctors to diagnose that my pelvis had been fractured. It took months for this to heal. This is now healed but I will never be the same, I need to walk with a stick and have pain in my left hip, can only walk short distances and have constant backache.

When I rang TAC and informed them of the accident, they told me not to bother making a formal complaint as TAC never paid compensation.
