The Story about this Public Liability Claim
Grace lives in Queensland. She was on a business trip in Melbourne when she, unfortunately, had an accident at a serviced office, which was a rental space for meetings.
She was scheduled to meet with a company that rented one of the offices.
As she arrived at the serviced office, she approached the reception desk and asked the receptionists where the meeting was held.
One of the receptionists pointed her to her left.
She saw a long carpeted corridor. As she started walking along the corridor, she missed a flight of 2 steps and fell down on the floor.
There were no warning signs of the steps, and none of the receptionists had warned her of the steps.
Our Henry Carus and Eliza Tan immediately attended the premises and took photographs of the premises before it underwent substantial changes.
The changes included application of contrast luminance strips to the nosing of the steps and installation of handrail on one side of the steps.
We commenced proceedings against three parties.
Through the process of discovery, we discovered that someone else had a fall within weeks after Grace’s accident at very similar steps on the other side of the building.
After an unsuccessful mediation, further materials were discovered which helped our position, and we successfully resolved the matter out of Court.

Actual Client Testimonial.
The outcome of my case was much better of what I expected.
Due to my profession I deal with quite a few lawyers but I never encountered someone as sharp as Henry Carus.
His forte is to think outside the box and his attitude.
I have no hesitation to recommend Henry Carus as the best Public/Accident Liability Lawyer I know.
As well as an excellent professional, he is also a caring and exceptional human being.
