The Story about this Public Liability Claim

Before his accident, Bruce was a fit and active 80 year old, who enjoyed walking and travelling to South-East Asia with his wife.

That all changed when he was shopping at his local supermarket, when he slipped and fell on a puddle of water in the fruit and vegetable area.

The supermarket staff failed to clean the spill and there were no signs warning Bruce of the hazard. Bruce suffered multiple injuries requiring extensive treatment and rehabilitation.

We were successful in arguing that the supermarket did not have an adequate system of identifying and cleaning spills so that Bruce and other customers could safely do their shopping.
