Ana Keres

Ana joined our team in her first legal position as a Legal Assistant in 2020, quickly progressing to a Paralegal. Fast forward only a few years and Ana is now a professional and effective Lawyer. Driven by the desire to assist others experiencing difficulties in their lives, Ana believes her career path is one where she can simplify the complexities associated with the legal world to ensure that clients see (and meet!) the light at the end of the tunnel.

Adding to Ana’s treasure trove of skills is her multilingual ability, speaking not only English but also Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and some Macedonian.

As an immigrant she’s seen her family struggle with foreign systems, and in a way the legal system is foreign even to those who are born here, as it is a complex and often overwhelming system. She loves working as a lawyer generally because she can assist someone in navigating through the legal world, and she loves working in personal injury specifically because she can assist someone who has been wronged in some way and that is going through a difficult time in their life – so it is a rewarding career!

Outside of work she like going to the gym and exploring the events and restaurants that Melb has to offer at the time.

John was attending to a local shopping centre, and was entering through the main doors, which are your typical side opening large glass doors used these days.  Unknown to him was that right behind the glass doors was a mat, a truly worn out mat that had raised edges all over the place. John was looking into the centre and did not notice the raised edges until after he took...
