Amy Yang
Our lawyer, Amy, has cultivated a deep appreciation for the meaningful impact a personal injury lawyer can have on individuals during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
As a valued member of our medical negligence team, Amy provides a personal perspective to women’s health matters, with a keen interest in obstetrics, cosmetic/aesthetic procedure-related claims, and complex malpractice cases. She understands the profound trust clients place in healthcare professionals and the lasting impact when that trust is compromised. While medical mistakes do occur, Amy is equipped to help clients navigate the often-unfamiliar intersection of medicine and law. Her insight and understanding enable her to provide empathetic, informed guidance, helping clients find the answers and accountability they deserve in sensitive and life-changing matters.
Throughout Victoria, Amy also practises across other areas of personal injury law and represents clients in Public Liability, Transport Accident Commission (TAC), and Victorian WorkCover Authority (VWA) claims. She has experience appearing in Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), Magistrates’ Court, County Court, and the Supreme Court of Australia.
Outside of her legal career, Amy’s passion shines in the kitchen, where she enjoys tackling challenging recipes and sharing her culinary creations with friends and family.
